Nub of skull?

Hi,

Do any of you moms know anything about the nub or skull theory?
Can you tell from this ultrasound (12w4d) whether it's a boy or a girl based on the nub or skull?

    I'm really curious about the answers, because I don't see those kinds of things on an ultrasound either! On my first ultrasounds, my kids looked like little beans and prawns, and now in this current pregnancy, they look like a Haribo gummy bear!! *blush*

    I'm already happy just seeing the head hahaha, but I don't see any legs or arms.

    But if any of the ladies here have knowledge of either the nub theory or skull theory... I'm very curious what you can make out of my ultrasound.

    @Rose, can you explain what you look at? Because when I google it, one site says to look at the shape of the head, and another says to look at the height of the forehead.

    If the head looks straight at the front and then suddenly curves backward, it’s a boy. If the head curves gradually backward, it’s a girl. That’s what I learned

    And you can indeed also see it in the shape of the head, but I don't always notice that.

    But I'm hesitating because on your ultrasound, it looks quite round at the top too. Of course, this doesn't help you at all, haha.

    Of course! We might know on July 6th if I show it.

    I really have no clue, statistically I think it's a girl (we already have 3) but yeah... even with three princesses, there could just as well be a prince in there hahahahaha

    Hey maride80, I just looked at the ultrasound photo, and if you look at the last part, I think it's a boy. He's standing a bit upright.

    Hey, that's so nice! Now I'm still waiting until Tuesday to get a 3D ultrasound. Maybe we'll see something. We'll find out then, almost 14 weeks. Congrats on the baby! Oh, this was my last ultrasound. We're curious too!

    I'll put it up next week if it's the pink one, and if the baby shows it, I'll also be a boy, but it could also be for fun.
