Hi, I'm Marieke, I'm 5 weeks pregnant today.
I'm a bit anxious because last year I had a miscarriage, and now it's really happening, I have a positive test in my hands.
I'm further along than last year, so it feels different, but you never know.
Now I'm being very careful with everything, still afraid that something might go wrong.
I've had sore breasts for 3 weeks (noticed it while walking up stairs haha).
I can't sleep on my stomach anymore, and when I sleep on my side, I have to think about it too haha.
Yesterday my lower belly started hurting, period-like pain.
I'm very tired.
Nauseous but not vomiting.
Dizzy.
I'm very hungry haha.
Next week I have an appointment with the doctor, just to ask questions and stuff.
They won't see me again until about 9 or 10 weeks haha.
Otherwise, you can't see anything yet, I really want to haha, hope it comes soon, then my boyfriend can enjoy it too, not really right now.
And congratulations to everyone. -

Congratulations on your pregnancy. It's so sad that you had a miscarriage last time. On the one hand, it's good that you already have some symptoms, even though that's also unpleasant and you're further along than last time. That fear that something might go wrong is really tough, isn't it? It doesn't sit well with me either. I can imagine that after a bad experience, it only feels scarier. I hope you get certainty soon and wish you a lovely pregnancy.
Lots of love, Miranda -

Hi Miranda, thanks for your message.
Yeah, the anxiety isn't so fun, we should be happy, and yes, we are very happy indeed.
But my boyfriend says every time it'll be fine now, stay positive.
So most of the time I'm positive, but with every cramp and whenever I feel something, I run to the toilet haha.
I already have to pee after almost every sip, so I'll keep an eye on it.
I hope it stays and that we have a good pregnancy.
It doesn't really matter to me right now if I'm nauseous, I want to have all the symptoms because then I'm sure it's really real, sounds maybe silly and maybe I'll say later oh man I really didn't want these ailments but for now let them come because I want more certainty haha.
I wish you and everyone else a nice pregnancy too. -

Hi everyone,
I tested last Friday and it was positive! That was already 3 days before my expected period, so I'm now over 4 weeks pregnant! Yesterday I did a Clear Blue test with the indicator together with my partner, and it showed 2/3 weeks (so 4-5 weeks pregnant). I find it all very exciting, especially since I had a bad flu with high fever for a few days last week. I took some paracetamol occasionally to bring the fever down, but my temperature stayed too high (I didn't know yet if I was really pregnant, of course). I totally relate to your stories and worries!
I have (luckily?) few symptoms so far: a bit of tender breasts and sometimes stabbing/cramping low in my belly (especially when I lie in bed at night). No nausea or other complaints.
Today at the toilet I had a very tiny pink spot on the toilet paper when wiping, but I later realized that could also be from wiping too roughly. After that, luckily no more spotting and no abdominal pain etc. But well, plenty of tension still...!! -

Hi! I'm 5 weeks pregnant now. Last week I had regular cramps in my belly and felt nauseous... but for the past week, I haven't had any symptoms at all... no more sore breasts and no more nausea... I'm scared

Dear moms,
I'm 5 weeks pregnant now, but I'm starting to go a bit crazy with myself. In the evenings, I get severe cramping and burning pain in my lower abdomen and back (especially when I'm sitting). I've also suddenly lost my tender breasts. Otherwise, I do have a somewhat labor-like and bloated feeling. Does anyone else relate to this? I'm pregnant with my second, but I can't remember it being like this with my first.... I'm really scared of a miscarriage....and probably driving myself crazy... -

I'm pregnant too and I'm so incredibly nervous. Half a year ago I had a miscarriage where I bled heavily for almost 2 months (or maybe 3), sometimes with breaks where there was no bleeding. Now I only had this gross stuff to pee out for 3.5 days with some tissue, and it bled through no, only with wiping there was Bordeaux red blood but it just kept hanging in my vagina and with wiping the dark color came out. Has anyone else had this? Now I only have a bit of discharge that seems to be going from brown to black. I'm 5.5 weeks pregnant now and feel completely nothing else. Have you guys also experienced this pooping out stuff with tissue around when your period was supposed to start???????? I'm so nervous. -

Hi everyone!
I'm now 5 weeks and 1 day, and it's all so exciting. I have to be honest and say I haven't had many pregnancy symptoms yet, except for being very tired and sometimes having stomach pain.
Greetings! -

I'm now 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I'm having quite a bit of discomfort in my lower abdomen, but on the right side, and quite a bit of stomach cramps and tender breasts, from time to time. I have to go to the hospital on March 14th for the ultrasound. I hope you can see something. I'm very curious about how or what. Only the "eating pains" I don't know because I've had stomach reduction surgery, so that's quite boring if you don't know the eating pains.

Hi everyone,
I'm 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant now. But I don't feel much yet... Just super vague sensitive breasts and sometimes a little stab in my lower belly. I am tired though! I do worry a bit whether this is normal, but I'm trying to enjoy it too. First ultrasound is on July 2nd! -

Hi everyone,
I'm just 5 weeks pregnant with my second and it's super nice to be able to join a forum again.
I have a question. I just saw this article on www.buskruitmet.nl: Moeders voor Moeders and it got me thinking. Has any of you had experience with this? Is it easy to do?
Greetings, Marie -

Hi there,
I'm also 5 weeks pregnant today. Last week I was extremely tired, and since this week my nipples have been very sensitive. I also had a miscarriage in February at 8 weeks. I'm experiencing some bleeding and frequent urination. My digestion is all over the place
For now, it all seems normal, but I'm cautiously waiting for the first ultrasound. It's scheduled for September 23rd.
