Hear your baby at home? That’s possible!!

So I bought a Doppler today at a shop in Amsterdam that sells medical supplies, and I'm so happy with it. After three miscarriages in a row, I've finally passed my "critical phase," but it wasn't without a lot of anxiety and uncertainty... Until I watched that program on RTL4 about large families and saw that one woman also had experience with multiple miscarriages and therefore had a device that the UK also uses to listen to the little heartbeat, so I immediately Googled it!

I found out it's called a Doppler and immediately started looking for a Dutch company that sells it. Because I was pregnant before and had never heard of this here, I thought I'd promote it for ladies who just love hearing the baby or ladies who, like me, deal with insecurity every day.

It only costs €29.95 and you can really only use it from your 2nd trimester onwards...

    @ baby that's totally true :-)

We also have the Angel Sounds, but at 11 weeks I already heard the heartbeat. I could even hear my own umbilical cord pulsing.

My man had pulled some cable from somewhere so we could listen through the stereo. Really fun!

That's indeed a really good idea! I'll definitely try that out... I'm so happy about it; I felt so guilty when I called the urgent line on VK because I was worried. She was, mind you, in the middle of a delivery. Now I can just do it comfortably at home hihihi

We also had the AngelSound and it worked really well, truly recommend it. I found it so nice that I could hear the baby even when I wasn't feeling the movements so much.

    I have an AngelSound Doppler.
    And it's indeed really fun!
Except when the little one doesn't feel like it and kicks right at the device but it's still practical to hear the heartbeat and the movement.
