Hi everyone,

I'm new here... I found out yesterday that I'm pregnant, I'm only 4 weeks now, so it's all still very early... I'm also constantly scared that something might go wrong or something. Did you guys feel that too?

    Congratulations!
I think everyone is scared during the first 12 weeks, you know.
I used to go to the toilet every time to check if I was losing blood—I was going crazy.
After 5 ultrasounds and now being 14 weeks pregnant, I finally dare to be happy.

Lovely, Cherry! Congratulations! I'm also about 4 weeks pregnant now. I find it all so exciting and am afraid it could go wrong at any moment. I also have some of those weird period-like cramps... not painful, but I do feel something. It makes me quite insecure! ???

    Congratulations ladies! ^^
I'm 7 weeks and 3 days now. Also terrified haha, but it'll all work out as it's meant to!
Just stay calm and wait for the first ultrasound. Have you got an appointment yet?
    And you, M.?

Thank you! Congratulations to you too!! I only found out yesterday, and we're heading to Barcelona tonight.. I can only call again when we're back on Wednesday.. super exciting! Have you already got an appointment? When are you getting your first ultrasound? :-)

Thank you for your replies. I found out yesterday and had an ultrasound right away, but unfortunately, nothing was visible yet. This makes me feel a bit unsure. I’m having a lot of breast pain now, but also period-like cramps and back pain. I’ll call the gynecologist on Monday to see what to do next. It’s an exciting time. This is my first pregnancy; I just stopped the pill last month and got pregnant right away!

Don't worry girls, those cramps are totally normal!
Just like the incredibly uncertain feeling... And really, that feeling will always come back.
First the fear of a miscarriage, then the fear when you don't feel the baby move for a day, then the fear that something will happen during childbirth... And when they're 16, the fear that they'll be kidnapped after a night out (we're not there yet, luckily) Etc. etc. etc.

Congratulations by the way. It's a lovely time to be due around Christmas and New Year's!! I was due on Christmas Day two years ago.

Thanks for the reassurance! The cramps are luckily gone by now. I find it all so nerve-wracking... really hoping everything continues well... it's still so early! I just called the midwife and I'm getting my first 8-week ultrasound on May 10th.. right before I go on vacation to Ibiza. Super nerve-wracking, but nice that it can still happen before my vacation!
