Had a miscarriage and miss being pregnant.

Hi everyone, I was 9.5 weeks pregnant and had a miscarriage at 8 weeks, which we found out about during the second ultrasound... It felt so incredibly sad. I just felt pregnant, had no bleeding or anything like that. At 7 weeks, the heartbeat was still so beautiful, and a week later it wasn't anymore. It feels so unreal. Last Friday I had a D&C, which went well. I already miss being pregnant. I still have sore breasts and am still spotting a bit. Hopefully, I'll be pregnant again soon and this time it will go well... Just needed to get this off my chest!!

    hey naatje.
such situations are never fun. we lost our first child at 24 weeks when it was actually all over, I also missed being pregnant, the rumbling and the movements in my belly. of course it all had to happen like that, but then you still think, why me. 2 years later I got pregnant again, just before I went on vacation. On the last day of the vacation I got stomach pain and thought I had eaten something wrong. Once I got home I went to the doctor and got medicine for my stomach. 1 week later I took a test and found out I was pregnant. I was very happy but on the other hand I had mixed feelings because I was so afraid it would go wrong. And it did go wrong, I was actually 8 weeks pregnant and the baby was much too small to be 8 weeks. According to the measurement it was 6 weeks and a few days. After a few days the miscarriage bleeding started. I didn't really miss being pregnant this time because it was so short and I didn't have many feelings about it. I didn't have any symptoms at all. But I did have that feeling again, why me again. Now this pregnancy also didn't look too rosy in the beginning. I often thought it was over again, I lost a lot of blood and yet everything remained intact. Meanwhile we are almost at the end but you don't care about that of course.
Meanwhile I understand very well how you feel and hope with you that you will get pregnant again soon/may get pregnant
    greetings liena

What a really tough experience for you. I totally get that you miss being pregnant, especially since your body hasn't fully adjusted to the fact that you're no longer pregnant. I'm rooting for you to get pregnant again soon and hope everything goes well for you and the baby!
