Hi everyone!

Let me introduce myself: I'm 22 and 9 weeks 2 days pregnant (due date 5/11/2016).

I don't have many pregnancy ailments, (sensitive nipples, cramps in my lower belly, very occasionally nauseous in the morning, fatigue, sluggish bowels).
Last week I had a nice first ultrasound with a beating heart at 8w4d. The OB-GYN was quick about it, everything was perfect!

But I'm still very anxious about losing my baby. I've had a miscarriage before at 6 weeks.
I've been taking Omnibionta Pronatal for 1 week.

Sometimes I get so worried that I start overthinking whether I'm eating too little! I was always a good eater, but since I'm pregnant, I've been craving lighter meals, especially vegetables.
Here's a typical 'daily menu' of mine:
Breakfast:
1 portion (250-300ml) fortified soy-hazelnut-almond drink
3-4 tablespoons of oats + 1 kiwi
- sometimes I add a tub of yogurt.

10am snack: usually a piece of fruit (apple, orange...)
Between the 10am snack and lunch I sometimes munch on dried apricots, dates...

Lunch:
a bowl of fresh homemade soup (I'm a real fresh soup fan!)
+ 3 to 4 buckwheat crackers (pain des fleurs) with slices of cheese on top
+ a tub of cucumber + cherry tomatoes (bizarre, since I'm pregnant I HAVE to have this every day!)
I also take my vitamins with this.

At 2-3pm: a 3rd piece of fruit (usually a banana) + I can't resist the dried apricots.

And then in the evening:
1 plate of dinner (meat, fish, meat substitute + vegetables + grain product (pasta, rice, potato, quinoa...)

And I drink almost 2 liters of water daily.

I usually go to bed early, so I don't get very hungry either.

Am I eating too little, or does this look okay? I really have no idea...
I haven't eaten very well the last few days, so I'm worried again that this isn't good for the baby!

Is it true that the baby takes what it needs?
Does the chance of miscarriage decrease after a good 8-week ultrasound?
I'm so worried that the heart won't be beating anymore at the second ultrasound! (Which is on 02/05 by the way!)
That's why I wouldn't want to tell the family yet, but my husband can't wait to tell them....

I hope someone can help me!

Greetings!

Wow, what information! You're really stressing yourself out. The food looks fine, and stress is just so bad!! Relax, enjoy, and eat mindfully. The baby is still attached to the yolk sac and isn't connected to you yet, so chill out!

There are women who can't keep anything down in the first few weeks, and nothing happens to them!

Hi, I totally get what you're going through. I had 3 miscarriages at 6 weeks myself. You always keep thinking: am I doing it right? Am I eating enough and on time? And you just keep going. Stress is definitely not good, but a miscarriage is no joke. We had a beating heart at 7 weeks, and we were told everything would be fine. We're now almost at 34 weeks, our boy is moving well, and his heart is still beating strong, so we stay positive, and that's the best thing you can do—stay positive and enjoy it. Wishing you a lovely pregnancy; you're already past the 6-week mark.

I get it too, but it's just really not good to stress yourself out like that!!
