HELP! Early ultrasound, not much to see
Just a quick question.
I had to go to the hospital today for an appointment. I was in the waiting room and the appointment was already scheduled before I found out I was pregnant.
The appointment was about a future pregnancy, due to our baby who passed away after 22 weeks of pregnancy. So that's why I had let the appointment stand.
When I came in, the OB said, "I understand you're pregnant. Well, let's just take a look then." So I thought, huh?! But who cancels an ultrasound, so I was already happy.
Then during the internal ultrasound, he looked and said it was small. Then he asked if I had had cramps or bleeding. I said no.
After that, he said it looked small, like a pregnancy of 3 weeks instead of 5. He said I need to come back next Friday and that he needs to see more then.
He gives it a 50/50 chance.
Well, my mood was ruined right away, and after we've been trying for 2 years now after our little girl passed away, it really hits hard.
In total, we've been trying for 5 years to get a baby.
Has anyone else had such an early ultrasound and how did it turn out?
