Good afternoon ladies,

I was wondering how long you all work?

I have a very stressful job that mainly takes place on the road in the morning.

In the afternoon I work at the office, but my work is never finished and there are many deadlines.

Greetings,

Eef

I'm stopping at 34 weeks of pregnancy. I'll probably stop even earlier, and my boss will just send me home sick.
It's regulated differently in the Netherlands than in Belgium.

With my previous two pregnancies, I really wanted to keep working until 4 weeks before the due date.
But unfortunately, it didn’t work out because of severe back pain.
I wanted to work shorter hours,
    so only in the afternoons.
But the company doctor said I’d have to stop at 6 weeks then.
So unfortunately, instead of 4 weeks before,
I went on leave 6 weeks before.
I also work in an office
    and I’m a receptionist.
    Now with my third pregnancy,
unfortunately, it didn’t work out again to keep working until 4 weeks before.
Looking back, it would’ve been much better.
    I got really tired
and had a lot of pain down there, you know,
    like it was on fire.
I still have that now, but now I can sit down
in bed. And not at work, of course.
There I’m sitting all day on a chair.

So this time I asked again if it was possible to work part-time and still start my maternity leave 4 weeks before the due date?
But the company doctor immediately said no way.
Hi hi she was quite strict and direct.
And she found it irresponsible to let me keep working with my complaints.
So I had to stop right away.
Already 1 month before my 6-week leave was supposed to start.
I was supposed to go on leave on Feb 13th.
But my leave started on Jan 1st.
I was really upset. But now I'm actually glad about it

With my first daughter, I went on leave 4 weeks early. I have a job where I have to walk and stand all day, but it worked out fine.
Now I'm pregnant with our second daughter and I'm going on leave 5 weeks early. I was induced with the first one, and now at 38 weeks, I want some extra time with my daughter and to rest.

Personally, I want to work until 1 week before my due date; my sister-in-law has already done that twice.
Unfortunately, our jobs barely allow us to stop earlier.

It’s already panic here if I call in sick for just 1 day... (I’m the only woman in the office)
And the men are always coming at you with the silliest things

I’m currently pregnant with my first, curious to see how they’ll react at work

I'm now 33+3 weeks pregnant, and I'm going to keep working until 36 weeks. Given how I'm feeling right now, that should be totally fine.
I work in an office, and my replacement is already fully sorted and trained, so in two weeks I can go on leave with peace of mind.

At my company, it's normal to work until 38 weeks, but it really depends on whether you manage to pull it off... If you go earlier, you'll also have to return sooner after giving birth, so I'm hoping I can make it to 38 weeks... We'll see!

I have my own cleaning business and do everything myself. I'm 29 weeks pregnant and my partner is helping me with vacuuming now. I really want to keep working and currently don't have any issues with it.
Now I'm scouring the internet to see if it's even healthy to work until (almost) the end of your pregnancy...
Because that's what I'd like to see and want to do as long as my body allows it. So far, I haven't been able to find anything about it! So I assume I can keep working until my body starts giving me trouble?

I got maternity leave for the first and second time at 34 weeks.. Now again at 34 weeks, but this will also be my very last workday because I've decided to stay home and be a stay-at-home mom from now on
