9 weeks and no symptoms

Hello dear people, it's my first pregnancy so everything is very new to me. It wasn't planned but now I'm really, really happy! I had my first ultrasound at 7.2 weeks and there was a little heartbeat. My next ultrasound is on March 2nd, but I'm so scared that when I go, it will have gone wrong. I don't feel anything at all... My breasts aren't bigger, they did hurt a bit but that's gone now too. No nausea, not tired... Just nothing, really.

Hi little one, congratulations on your pregnancy!

A first pregnancy can feel uncertain too, since you don't have a personal comparison. But every pregnancy is different, so it stays exciting even with a second or third one :-)

I remember when I was pregnant with my daughter, I didn't feel much either, so I kept checking in the mirror to see if I still had a belly, haha. As for your breasts, I think the symptoms might ease up a bit in this phase as your body starts adjusting to the hormones.

Good thing you're getting an ultrasound soon and confirmation that everything is okay! Otherwise, you can always give them a call; they usually don't mind, and she might be able to reassure you.

Thank you so much, Nannie!! I don't have any comparisons, unfortunately. I only have a gynecologist instead of a midwife, so I can't call the hospital for things like this, unfortunately. I'll just have to bite the bullet and wait until Wednesday. That'll be a whole week, haha!

Can't you call a midwife in cases like this when you're unsure?

Not that I know of. I think a gynecologist is different from a midwife.

I’m seeing my own OB-GYN, and if I have questions, I can always call them. But don’t think they’ll be able to say much more. I’ve read plenty of positive stories about women who had no symptoms and ended up with a healthy pregnancy

    Hey Kleintje

You often don't get to speak to the gynecologist directly (which is also a good sign...) but to a nurse or midwife at the hospital. So I'd just call if you want to.

I wouldn't worry too much, symptoms come and go and come back again at later stages. I had this too and am about as far along as you. I read on another forum that some people even had much fewer symptoms for a few weeks and then they came back with full force or changed.

I barely had any symptoms either.
Just a little bit of a crampy feeling.

I didn’t really realize it for a long time either; I knew because I’d had an ultrasound, but it didn’t really sink in. But I was never afraid that something was wrong.
In the meantime, I’m almost 37 weeks pregnant, and the pregnancy has been a breeze.

My first pregnancy I had absolutely no symptoms. It wasn't until 20 weeks that my breasts changed, and after 30 weeks I got heartburn, and in the last two weeks I had terrible pelvic pain. Never felt nauseous or anything like that. This pregnancy, I've been nauseous from the very beginning, my breasts are huge, and I'm still regularly spitting up. Such differences can occur.

Ohhh, good to hear... It does worry me a bit, actually. You read so many scary things on different forums, of course. Thanks so much for your kind replies! Just push through until Wednesday????... Wishing you all a really beautiful and pleasant pregnancy!!
