Any experience with midstream tests?

Hi,
Does anyone have experience with midstream pregnancy tests? I tested very early (last Thursday I had quite a bit of cramping in my lower abdomen, which I recognized from my previous two kids and implantation). These tests can be used 6 days before your expected period... This morning I didn’t look at the test very carefully, but now I wanted to throw it away and thought... let me check one more time... is this a fade line or not?

And you have to look really closely!! By the way, the reason I had tested was because we're having a party tonight

Without a photo, we can't judge anything..

I can't seem to catch up on weight gain . I need to enable JavaScript, but where is that on my phone?

    What brand is the test?

Predictor Early tests (6 days before your expected period) are known for giving false results and evaporation lines.

They're from Pregnant and Kids and then the extremely sensitive midstream tests...

See profile picture... this is the only way I can get the photo on there.

I also had a test, 4 days before my period, it was negative. The day after my period, I still had doubts, but 2 days later it was more visible.

It really depends on your hormone levels. I wouldn't risk drinking.

But some people do it during pregnancy. The choice is yours.

Yes, you're right Valuna! I'm always right when I just don't do anything . But that test is kind of stuck in my head now . Not sure if these tests can have evaporation lines.

There's a line, and if the IR appears within the maximum time, it's positive; otherwise, you shouldn't consider it positive.

By the way, I believe all tests can get evaporation lines; some are just more known for it than others, but it happens anyway.

I'd say positive, but test again tomorrow.

Well, I don't know if he showed up within the time frame... I did check, but my husband was still asleep, so I just went with: negative, hope, and put it away. This photo was taken a few hours after testing... I'll definitely throw another one at it tomorrow . Otherwise, just wait until next weekend hihi.

    Hey Justme,

Have you repeated the test again by now?
I noticed at the Action that the faint lines are often much thinner than a light or clear positive result.

    Greetings

    Hi Lizzy,
I’ve also tested positive with Kruidvat now . I think the very first tests were just evaporation lines though. But now they’re nicely light pink with the Kruidvat 2v5. I guess I’m heading towards NOD, so now 4 weeks, I think?
