Intestines in the way with ultrasound
Anonymous
No worries
An internal ultrasound is often done when the uterus is still behind the pubic bone (early in pregnancy) and therefore no clear image can be obtained through the abdomen. This does not increase the risk of miscarriage. And your intestines will naturally find their "new" spot, making room for your baby. Your body is set up to adapt to everything. Congratulations on your pregnancy, enjoy it
