Good afternoon!

We just had our first ultrasound, and we saw a very tiny baby that should be about 8 weeks old! The heartbeat was clearly visible and sounded good!

Besides seeing the baby, the midwife also noticed a likely fibroid. It’s located at the top of my uterus and measures about 6 by 6 cm.
She took it quite lightly and wasn’t immediately worried, since it’s positioned above the baby.

In 3.5 weeks, I’m scheduled to see a senior sonographer at the hospital so he can take another look. Apparently, he’s ‘really good’.

Naturally, you’re inclined to search for stories online, but you often only find very negative ones here. Has anyone of you experienced this before?

    Hi!
I also have one in the same spot, just on the left side of my uterine wall. It's a fibroid of about the same size... I'm 22 weeks pregnant now, but unfortunately not without worries... How are you doing?
