Heavy bleeding at 6 weeks

Hi ladies,
Has anyone here had experience with bleeding around 6 weeks and preferably with a good outcome? :-)
Four days ago it started for me with some brown discharge. The next day it was already bright red. The gynecologist did an ultrasound and the baby looked okay, but there was no heartbeat yet. In 3 days (so a week later) I have to go back for another ultrasound and then the heart MUST be beating. Meanwhile, I have very heavy bleeding (worse than a period) but no cramps or clots.
The gynecologist gave a 50% chance of a good outcome...
That's a lot more chances than winning the lottery! ;-)

    Hi MamaVanStella, I'm 5.5 weeks pregnant. Since yesterday I've had some bleeding when wiping. My doctor did an ultrasound, but it's still too early to hear the heartbeat. Hopefully everything will be okay.

    Oh ladies, that's so upsetting for you both. That uncertainty is just so awful, isn't it?

    I also bled at 6 weeks, a bit like the start of a period... Then there was very dark brown discharge / old blood. But luckily it all turned out fine in the end.

    It doesn't have to be anything, you're both reading all kinds of stories. They say as long as there are no cramps, it's okay.

    I hope you both get a good ultrasound soon, that'll bring some peace of mind!!

    And Eev, thanks for cheering us up! You read so many stories about miscarriages around this time, and only a handful where it ends up okay...

    Hey Mandy, thanks for your message Since today I've had very little bleeding. But until Friday it was very heavy.
    I'll let you know the result tomorrow...

    The ultrasound was negative today; it was a miscarriage...
