How much hcg in your blood for nod

Yesterday I had my blood drawn. 3 days before my due date. My hcg level was at 18. I find this very low. On Friday I need to have my blood taken again to see if it has risen. Who else had such low hcg in their blood and then it rose well?? Feeling so unsure right now

    That's really nice! HCG above 5 means pregnant, and the value should double by Friday...

    Oh thanks mamavanmi for responding so quickly. Hope it doubles. My tests are getting darker and darker. Now 2 days in suspense. Hopefully I can start enjoying it from then on.

    You're welcome. Given what you've said about your tests, I think everything will be fine...
    You had a negative test first, right? But maybe you tested way too early?

    5 days before my period, I had a negative test. The next day, there was a faint line. I had blood drawn this morning. I can call at 7:30 PM for the result. Pfff, that uncertainty is just not my thing.

    Hey ct.. do you know any more?? Hcg 18 three days before ndg is normal, don't worry.. it doubles every day so that would mean you should have 72 on your ndg.. my value was 320 a week after ndg.. so if you work backwards we come to about the same...and this low value is now cheerfully floating around the living room congratulations dear!!

    Got the results today. My hCG is now at 33. The doctor said it's good. I feel much better now. I have to get my blood drawn again on Monday. Friday is my due date. If nothing happens by then, I'll feel even better. My boyfriend is so happy. I got a flower from him Thanks for your kind words.
