Sickness benefit and pregnancy

Hi, I have a question and I hope you can help me.

I recently found out that I'm pregnant. I'm almost 7 weeks now. My due date would be around August 30th.

Well, the thing is, last April I went on sick leave due to anxiety attacks and being overworked. My contract wasn't renewed then. The UWV wants me to report as fit for work again starting today, which means I'll enter the unemployment benefits (WW) system. I have 8 years of work experience, so I think I'm entitled to 8 months of WW benefits. Will I still get full maternity allowance in that case? And what happens if I can work temporarily in between? Will I still be entitled to WW benefits after that, since I won't have worked 26 weeks?

I hope you can help me out.

    Pff, geez, that's so rough.
Anyway, I've got things set up differently here.

I didn't get a permanent contract, so I had to leave my job at 24 weeks. Now I'm almost 30 weeks along. All in all, I've already had 10 months of unemployment benefits (WW) plus 16 weeks of maternity leave, and normally that benefit is paid at 100% with no job search requirement.

So basically, it's ridiculous—I'm now required to apply for jobs until 34 weeks.
I mean, who's going to hire you at that point?

Do you get 3 or 4 months off in your first year of work?
