no belly yet, who else?

Too bad, right? At least I couldn't wait to show off my belly
With me, it was only slightly visible at 20 weeks. From then on, my belly grew really fast all of a sudden; before that, there was nothing to see either.

When I was pregnant with the first one, you could tell I was pregnant at 26 weeks.

Now I'm pregnant with the second one and already have a noticeable belly at 16 weeks.

    Don't worry about it.
During my two pregnancies, they always thought I had a long way to go, while I only had 3 months left.
They didn't see a big bump on me either.
I'm also not one of those women where it shows very early in the pregnancy.
Now, with this pregnancy, people are quite surprised when I tell them I still have 3 months to go.
Then I get told, "Oh, it must be a little girl then?"
    Judging by your modest bump.
"I thought you had even longer to go?"
Pfff, I do get tired of it sometimes, but on the other hand, my grandma always tells me you're better off this way than showing very early, then your skin stretches a lot sooner. Now you don't have that, it stays nice
The midwife also said to us recently, it's fine, it matches exactly the number of months pregnant.
That's how we like to see it
Now it might be true what my grandma said because I never had a hanging belly or extra fat left over from my pregnancies, nor stretch marks or anything.
And I got my own figure back very quickly.
Don't worry, it's different for every woman. You're certainly not the only one

I actually only had a small bump in the end. And it was gone right after the birth too. This time, the bump started to shrink a bit earlier, but it was still small. Last time I also only had a tiny baby, 2.5 kg and 44 cm. I gained a total of 9 kg.

Don't worry about it though, you'll see in the end

I’m not worried either, but I was wondering if others have experienced this. This is my second pregnancy, and with my first, it wasn’t obvious I was pregnant until I was only 3 months along. I also got comments like, “Oh, it’ll probably be a tiny one,” well, they were wrong—it was a big boy, almost 4 kilos. The upside was that I lost all the weight right after birth since I’d only gained 8 kilos.

I just wondered if I was the only one who had this experience, but it seems there are more of us????

Yeah, you probably just carry more towards the inside. That’s what I did too, so I didn’t have a big belly. At 38 weeks, I had a belly that most people have at 5-6 months. That’s when I was induced, so it didn’t grow any more in the last few weeks.

Be happy. Not everyone grows at the same pace, and in the end, it'll all work out anyway.
