Still tired in the 2nd trimester?

Hi everyone,
I'm 19 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I'm still feeling really tired almost every day. With the first one, I didn't have this in the second trimester anymore. Are there more people who have this too?

Maybe it's also because I now have a 2-year-old boy running around. Although he still sleeps for about 2.5 to 3 hours in the afternoon. Sometimes I take a little nap too. But on workdays (3 times a week, 10 hours a day) that's obviously not possible, and I just fall asleep on the couch in the evening. That's pretty nice and cozy for my husband too.

But I'm actually curious if more people here are experiencing this.

Hi there! I'm also pregnant with my second and feeling really tired right now. I'm 22 weeks along and feeling good overall, aside from some minor aches, but I'm experiencing this pregnancy as heavier.

If I don't have to work and my little man is still sleeping for another 1.5 hours in the afternoon, I'll also try to rest for an hour if possible.

With the first one, you don't really have to plan anything, but now of course you do.

Work, housework, and a little guy here, and twice a week he goes to the toddler playgroup.

Hi, this is my first pregnancy, but I’m also experiencing that I’m still so tired in the second trimester. Otherwise, no complaints, luckily.

Now, in the last 2 weeks, I’m really feeling it in my body, so it’s getting heavier. But yeah, that’s logical too.

Trying to rest as much as possible.

I had a lot of it.
    Clearly less energy.
Getting sleepy faster. Especially at work I was tired quicker.
Now luckily I have a bit more energy again.
But still, I don't feel like I did before my pregnancy.
I had completely forgotten how pregnancy fatigue feels.

I meant it like this: I don't feel this way during pregnancy.
But luckily I'm not as tired anymore
as I was at the beginning.
    You apparently forget it quickly
because I've already experienced two pregnancies. But I had completely forgotten how it felt, the fatigue then.
    Greetings, Madelene

This has to fit in my head.

First pregnancy, but I'm still pretty tired, you know. It's much better than the first 12 weeks, but my long workdays are really taking a toll now... I've never had this in the 10 years I've been doing this job, so it must really be due to the pregnancy, I think.
I can get through the day okay, some days are a bit better than others, but by evening I'm completely wiped out. I look forward to Saturday evenings every week, nice sleep and not getting up early on Sundays :-) Zaaaaaaaligheid!

Funny... so relatable. Second pregnancy, tired and still nauseous! I didn't have this with the first one.
That forgetfulness also makes you tired. Everything takes more effort and energy because of it. They should really do some research on this. Is a second pregnancy more exhausting and why is that?

So relatable what I'm reading here. Second pregnancy and already almost 20 weeks. Still having bouts of nausea and constantly feeling tired or truly exhausted. Didn't have any issues during the first one, but then I could rest whenever I wanted. I totally get it, but now it's already heavier than expected.

I'm also in my second pregnancy, almost 20 weeks now. I hardly have any pregnancy complaints. I didn't have any issues during my first pregnancy either.
I do notice that I'm much more tired than during my first pregnancy. I hoped this would decrease in the second trimester, but I'm still feeling tired.
Nothing came up during the physical examination. I'm just accepting it and getting as much rest as possible. Our body is working hard after all.
