Hi ladies,
I went to the gynecologist last week and had a blood test, and it was positive.
So I'm pregnant and very happy, but since we didn't expect it, I had to do another blood test two days later to check the hCG levels, and they dropped from 98 to 97.
Has anyone experienced this before, and did the hCG levels go up for anyone who ended up having a positive pregnancy?
Tomorrow I have to go back to the hospital for an ultrasound and to retest the hCG levels.
Hopefully, someone can answer my questions.

Uhm, I think hCG should double every 2 days, not decrease. -

98 to 97 is indeed not a doubling. That's tricky. You really should call your OB-GYN or midwife. They can assess whether this is normal for your stage. Don't wait around, get in touch. Good luck.
