Uncertainty about pregnancy

Good afternoon ladies,
I just want to share my thoughts...
Last Friday, after 2 years of trying, I finally got a positive test. I did 3 tests in total, and all were positive. Since yesterday, I've been losing old blood, and I went to the doctor today. Unfortunately, it's still too early for an ultrasound because I'm only 5 weeks along.

I'm just so worried because the doctor says it could go either way—miscarriage or things could turn out okay. But I don't have any pregnancy symptoms at all. I was wondering if more women have experienced this and what their experiences were.

Thanks in advance,
Laura

I've read this before, sometimes it happens and it's nothing serious. Sometimes it's just old blood that needs to come out, nothing to worry about. Don't stress too much right now, that's not good for the baby either.

Sorry, forgot. The best thing is to just wait and see what the doctor says and have a bit of patience.

During my pregnancy, I didn't have many issues in the first few weeks either, but they came later. So it could still happen.

Unfortunately, today I’m losing a lot of blood and clots, severe abdominal pain. I’m sometimes doubled over from the pain...

    Oh no, that's less!

It felt so weird this morning, and I had such a strange feeling. Thanks for your response anyway.

That's not nice to have something like that. Then you'd like support from someone.

    Angelas,

It feels so bitter to read that you're feeling so uncertain. Especially after trying for two years! I hope you're doing okay. Overthinking doesn't help, even though it's easier said than done!

I hadn't read this yet, I hope it's due to another cause. Although I fear the worst.
