Miscarriage?!

SandraGuest ·
I'm 6 weeks pregnant now.
At 5 weeks, I had an ultrasound because I didn't know how far along I was.
A gestational sac was visible.
I've had bright red bleeding with clots for 4 days now. No very large clots.
The blood is really mixed with mucus.
Yesterday, I lost a sort of sticky piece of tissue. It was a bit brownish-grey.
The bleeding has been about the same for these 4 days.
I called the midwife today, and she said I should wait until my ultrasound in a week and a half.
I don't really have many cramps, but sometimes a bit of period-like cramping.
I'm really worried, and having to wait so long doesn't help either.
Has anyone else experienced this?

First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy! It could be several things, and everyone’s experience is different.
I’d call the midwife again and let her know you’re really worried. She can definitely check whether the gestational sac is still there or not. You shouldn’t have to wait another week and a half for that, right? Only the midwife can give you proper advice.
Wishing you lots of strength with the bleeding!
    Take it easy.

Maybe the placenta has detached from your uterus...?? Just call them, insist that they check it out for you first.

    Good luck and stay strong.
