Reveal the baby's gender to the family during the pregnancy?

Poesh
I’m sticking to the principle of not telling anyone
Let them guess, it’s so much fun. I really have to be careful not to slip up, but if I do, then I do.
I’ve already slipped up twice. The first time, they definitely didn’t notice, but the second time was with a friend, and I’m kind of wondering about that one...

    Hi poesh
Yeah, it also seems hard to not spill the beans if you know
But you wouldn't do it then
Do you already know the gender?

Yeah, we don't really know, or think we know.
The doctor only saw it once. Never confirmed. But hey, in a few more weeks we'll have our little one in our arms, then we'll know for sure

Personally, I don't see much difference for your family... I completely understand that it's extra special for you, but if you liked it and could handle it with your two girls, why are you now doubting it...
Isn't the surprise now even bigger for your family, because they secretly expect another girl?

We’ve known since today that we’re having a girl, but only we know for sure. Family will find out at birth. They’re all guessing girl. We already have a son who’s 19 months old.

    So cute that you know!
If the gyn saw it, I'd just trust it.
It's nice that in a few weeks you'll already have your little one in your arms
I still have to wait until March.
A girl, that's also kind of what you're saying—it doesn't really change anything now suddenly compared to the previous two.
Only if we find out now that it's a boy, I think it'll be harder for me to keep it to myself, which is why I have a bit of doubt.

That's so awesome that you already know it's a girl
And yeah, keeping it a secret from the family is the most exciting and fun part.
It's funny how they guess it's a girl.
And it's lovely that you already have a 19-month-old son.
    He'll get a little sister
We won't know until November 3rd.
I'm counting down the weeks. That's when we have the 20-week ultrasound.
After reading your opinions, I think I'll keep it a surprise for the family.
    After we find out.

You should do what you feel best about

    That's so cute
But sometimes it helps just a bit to remind yourself which direction you want to go.
Thanks also for all the responses
And good luck with the little cutie soon.
    Greetings, Madelene

You go ahead and spill first that this kid isn't from your stolen guy.
  12. chertje85 #13

    What is Felicia's message about?
  13. Tamara #14

Let people do what they want. I don't believe it's fake, so just don't even talk about it...
  14. madelene #15

Tamara Felicia is a bit obsessed with me
  15. madelene #16

My current husband, with whom I’ve been happy for 12 years, was still married at the beginning.
    Now we’re years further along.
And she, Felicia, who really has nothing to do with my private past,
still holds me accountable for it.
    It’s none of her business.
Besides, she’s very childish, so I’ve decided to ignore her.
I also find it a bit scary that she’s so obsessed with me.
    She means by “stolen guy”
that my past is long gone
and no one cares except her.
    I just ignore her.

If you're happy now, people should just leave you alone...
  17. madelene #18

Yes, indeed Tamara, thank you for your understanding. That's how I think about it too

Just off-topic, I'll tell the family anyway. I'm not so good at keeping this to myself, I tend to slip up.

Do what feels right for you, it's your pregnancy.

I had some cupcakes made with pink filling and brought them by to the family, hehe. I loved telling them, especially since everyone thought it was a boy, haha! But I'm only 14 weeks along, who knows, it might still turn out to be a boy. Well, that's how I told the family. Hahahahaha!
