Restless nights

Good morning, I'm not so familiar here. Hope that by sharing this with you all I might get some tips. My daughter is almost 9 months old and has always been a good sleeper. At night, though, during the day she now only sleeps about an hour and a half in total. For a while now, she wakes up at least twice every night. One time it's to put her dummy back in, the other time she's really awake and it takes a while before she falls asleep again. What's weird is, we went on holiday 3 weeks ago and she had no trouble with that at all! Now that we're back home, it's back to square one. I hope it's just a phase, but it does seem to be lasting quite long. Does anyone have any tips for me? I'm a difficult sleeper myself, and lie awake for at least an hour after I've gotten out of bed, so I'm kind of broken by now. Thanks in advance!

Maybe your daughter was calmer on vacation because you were more relaxed and she could feel that.

I think it's best to take her into your bed if she's close to you. Maybe she'll fall asleep sooner and calm down. It might be unpleasant, but if it helps, it's probably just a phase.

Is it really necessary for you to get up? My daughter used to wake up at night too, and I’d just watch her first. Usually, she’d fall back asleep on her own. It’s a bit less intense each time, but if you have to get up, you’re really awake.

Sometimes just saying something is enough for her, but now she’s much older. So she understands when I tell her she needs to sleep because it’s too early.

It’s really just a phase, and they can sometimes last a long time. No idea why that is, but it usually goes away on its own. It helped me to keep that in mind. And during the day, get some rest in bed when she’s sleeping. Catch your sleep whenever you can.

Maybe a weird tip. Try putting the crib in a different corner of the room. I don't really believe in it, but it might have something to do with radiation in your house. I was also at my wit's end and changed the room, and he started sleeping through again. It's something simple but it can work. Good luck!

What chertje says can indeed be disturbing for your baby's peaceful sleep.
Babies are very sensitive and react strongly to energies, how strange it may sound.
So I think it's good advice.
I've also seen a whole program about this once.
    Just wanted to respond quickly

Oh, it was supposed to be "stoten" (to bump).
    Typed too quickly.
