Breathing

Peep. I used to have that too, and I still do, actually. I've been examined, but they found nothing. But what I notice is that when I'm very stressed and think about it too much, it gets worse. And I also get weird when I haven't drunk enough water during the day.

I have asthma, but I don't use anything for it.
But especially during my second pregnancy, I was very short of breath and felt tight-chested quickly.
Now I'm still in the early stages of my pregnancy and already feeling tight-chested again.
But just to be safe, I'd get a test done by the doctor to see if you might also be allergic to your cat.
    Just to be sure.
I myself am allergic to dust mites and get very tight-chested from it; it hits my chest right away, with a terrible feeling of tightness overwhelming me.
    Greetings, Madelene

Yeah, your heart has to pump more blood when you're pregnant, and that also affects your breathing. Shortness of breath and stuff like that is a well-known part of pregnancy. You can find info about it everywhere too... Your midwife probably knows how to explain it to you.
