I'm 22 and my boyfriend is 26. We're currently trying to conceive. It took a really long time for me to get a regular cycle. That took 8 months. Now I've had a 27-day cycle for 2 months.

My family always says, "Oh, it'll still take a while for you guys, right?" whenever babies or kids come up. But we've noticed it's coming up more and more often. We think, "Would they actually be happy if we told them?" We don't want to say anything until we're pregnant; then we'll tell everyone.

I'd love to chat with young parents who have experience with young parenthood. What challenges do you face, and what are the pros and cons? Would love to hear how others feel about it.

    Hi,
I'm Eline and I'm 24 now and have a son who's 3 and a half, and just had a daughter who's now 2 months old.

Super cute, 2 kids at that age. Sounds amazing to me too. I hope I'll be pregnant with the first one soon. How did your surroundings react to the pregnancies? And was it a conscious choice, like I read, I think so.

Hi, she responded really well to it because she already knew, we had been married for 2 years by then and had just bought a house and stuff. In our family, everyone started early, which is nice. Now our kids have grandparents and great-grandparents they know really well.

Hopefully you'll get pregnant soon. Young parents have advantages, but it's also tough. You also need to realize you won't have much time for yourself anymore.

    Greetings, Elineke

Oh yes, that does make a difference. In my family, pretty much everyone was late. We've been living together for a year and a half now. I've been off the pill for 8 months already, but it took a long time for me to get a normal cycle. Luckily, that's the case now, so I hope it happens soon.

Yeah, I believe it's pretty heavy. But I think that's the case at any age. And as you say now, they can still consciously meet people everywhere, Enzo, and that seems really nice to me too.

That was also the case for me; I hadn't had a period for a year. I went to the gynecologist, got the pill, and then my cycle came back.
I was pregnant right away, but the first time ended in a miscarriage. Two months later, I was really pregnant with a little one.
When should you get your period now?

    Greetings

Okay, so that works out pretty well! I have to get my period again on the 30th, so right now in my fertile window. So, time to get to work and then wait and see

Okay, but was that a very early miscarriage? Seems pretty intense, I think, if you find out about that.

    Greetings
