Nuby Thermometer

I just wanted to let you all know about this.
Our little one was sick recently and had a high fever.
We now have a Nuby flexible thermometer for our baby.
After using it, we cleaned it and then the metal tip with the wiring came completely loose—luckily after use and not during.
I really think this is quite serious, what if it had happened during use??
I’ve emailed Nuby about this.
They don’t take my complaint seriously at all, and I didn’t even get a replacement (as if I’d want one!!).
They claim this is the first time they’ve received such a complaint. In my opinion, it shouldn’t matter whether it’s one or a million complaints—they should do something about it.
All they said was, “Our apologies.”
Folks, please be careful with these thermometers, check them for your children’s safety.
