Pelvic instability

Hi,

I'm almost 27 weeks pregnant now and have been dealing with pelvic instability pain since week 16, under the care of a pelvic and manual therapist. My pelvis is being realigned weekly, and it's making me feel really discouraged... Are there other women who experience this? What do you do about the pain and the boredom of being stuck at home?

Best,
Anke

I'm almost 23 weeks pregnant now and went to my first prenatal yoga class with groin pain. This instructor was quite shocked because I was experiencing pain with many poses and doing everything wrong due to my hypermobility. I hadn't received this kind of information before, and I'm also starting cesartherapy on Monday to relieve the pain from pelvic instability. I've been home for a few days now and am bored out of my mind. I need to sort through the closet to switch from summer to winter clothes. But my husband prefers to do it together so I don't bend over too much. I actually did that at work, which is partly why I'm home now. And there are still so many weeks left. I hate resting. I'm so tired of TV, books, and my phone. Pffff. Lying, sitting, walking, and repeat!

Hi there, how are you doing now? And how did you solve the boredom problem?
I'm also at home with pelvic pain, and I find it really tough. With a little toddler running around, there's not much chance to really relax. Luckily, I have help two days a week. But I'm pretty much fed up with my phone, TV, and reading books...

Yeah, really annoying, and then on top of that, the nesting instinct makes you try to get everything perfect, so you automatically do too much. I'm lying flat again after swimming and a quick errand. I still need to walk the dog, but he'll just have to wait an hour; my right hip is too painful right now. Did too much again, 7 more weeks of struggle ahead, pffff... Good luck!
