I think Scarlet has a certain charm.
Or Khatelyn might also be nice.
    Pronounced as Keetlin.
Blis is also an English name, but you have to like it. It's definitely a modern name.
    Lamijra might also be nice?
    Greetings, Madelene

    Blis means perfect and joy.

Anonymous, I personally also think you're reacting a bit too intensely. Who are you to judge her or her daughter? And in my opinion, abortion is quite heavy—it's life we're talking about, even in the very early stages. I'd consider adoption way sooner than abortion. But if it ever happened to my daughters later on, I'd raise the child and make sure my daughter could just finish her studies properly and have a carefree teenage life. I'd definitely support and help her through it, even if it's not the ideal situation.

Respect mom, from 4. That's how a real mother should be for her children And being a young mom is also really nice for her child later on.

And abortion would never happen for us either. Besides, life is in the womb, and by having an abortion, you're essentially taking away a soul's chance at life. It's also incredibly hard if you demand your daughter to have an abortion because she might suffer from it for the rest of her life.

Oh wow, anonymous, that's quite a harsh response.

"My daughters wouldn't have had to come home at that age because an abortion is quick and easy.."

Even though I'm 21, I'm really glad you're not my mom

    Congratulations, beautiful name!
Wishing you lots of luck with your little one
  8. Hyacint #9

    I vote for 1 and 5!
  9. Madelene #10

    Oh sorry, oops, wrong place.
I had to put it somewhere else.
    Sorry, my mistake.

I think names 1 through 4 are pretty ordinary. Would you advise against them for your daughter? Keep in mind that these names might sound exciting when you're 15, but you'll think very differently about them when you're 35.

I still think Rovinia is quite nice.

    Otherwise, maybe Lavinia?

My name is Danitsja, which you don't hear very often, and my daughter is Djenaya, whom I've never heard of anywhere else either, hehe... And age doesn't matter, I assume that when you post such a message, you're well taken care of for your daughter and grandchild... I was 16 when I was pregnant and gave birth at 17. My mother was so kind.

    Maybe Ellis?

Did you check my profile? Congrats on your own baby! It's quite special that your niece and uncle grow up together, huh? I also know a woman who was pregnant at the same time as her mom. Is your daughter going to live with you?
  14. Linda #15

    Samirah. Is that Arabic?
I think Scarlet is the nicest!

What intense reactions here, seriously. Both for and against. 15 is ridiculously young to have a baby, but yeah, it can just happen to you. It's so easy to judge from the sidelines, a mistake can happen in a small corner. I am absolutely in favor of abortion, it's really good that we have the free choice here in the Netherlands about what to do with a pregnancy. And if my child got pregnant at 15, I would sincerely hope she chooses abortion. But it has to be her own choice. If she doesn't stand by it, she'll regret it for the rest of her life! And that seems to me the most terrible thing there is!
So well done on how you've handled this! That you support her in her choice for this child and help with raising it. Seems difficult, especially if you've just given birth yourself. At the same time, it's also very special, being pregnant together!

    Good luck with your family!

She chose a beautiful name for your daughter
Samiraha is Arabic and means princess there.
A beautiful name and meaning for a daughter.

I personally feel there are so many other ways than getting an abortion and denying a child the chance at life.
For example, placing the baby for adoption if you really couldn't care for the child.
But great that you made this decision so well.
And I think basically that's what a mother is for, to take in your child when they have a hard time. Of course, as parents, you help your teenage daughter with her baby.
That's truly being a mother as a mother is meant to be.
I wouldn't hesitate for a second to help my daughter if she got pregnant at 15.
Of course, I would have liked to see it differently,
that she could enjoy her own youth, her carefree teenage years, but hey,
once she's pregnant from that moment the baby is already there, no matter how small it is, it's there and then it's a fact.
So then you deal with the situation and make the best of it.
I would take on as much care of her baby as possible so my daughter could still study
    and still develop herself.
  17. Madelene #18

Wow Linda, I'm glad you're writing that you'd let your daughter make the choice herself, because it could cause a wound in her mind and heart that would never heal.

What a beautiful name! Wishing you all the best!

Exciting, huh! Wishing you all the best!
