What would you have done?!

My oldest is 15, almost 16, and she came home 3 weeks ago to say "Mom, I'm pregnant." My world stood still for a moment... She's had a boyfriend for 6 months, and no, I didn't expect her to be doing anything with him yet. He's 17, but still, I didn't expect it. The next day, I immediately called the midwife, and she told me and my daughter, dead serious, that she's already 15 weeks pregnant... Well, as a mother, your world really does stand still for a moment. I called my husband then, and we discussed it, and we felt she needed to take responsibility and tell her boyfriend and his parents. He didn't know what was coming, so we invited all three of them to our home and had a good talk. He decided to take responsibility with Demy and raise the baby together. But pff, it's so hard to become a mom and grandma at the same time. I'm 32, and Demy turns 16 on July 30th... We've had a tough time, but hey, I was 1.5 years older when I found out I was pregnant with Demy!!

I was angry and sad for a bit, but I told her I'd help her with everything, but once she gives birth, she really needs to start the pill. And once our other girls turn 13, they'll get the pill too, because no, I don't want to become a grandma at a young age again. Demy is now 19 weeks pregnant and expecting a girl. Her due date is November 15th, on her sister's birthday.

I can only respect how you're handling this situation! I have a son of almost 9 months myself, so it's totally not an issue for us, but if the situation ever arose, I would make the same choice as you! I would help my child wherever I can and would never even consider abortion!! Your situation is obviously very special, and becoming a mother again while also being a grandma, the little ones can play together later on, how awesome!!
I wish you all the luck!!
