Pregnant?

Hi!

I'm Anna, 20 years old, and I'm not sure what to do right now. My last period was the week of May 7th, and it's been absent since then. I don't know exactly how my cycle works because I was on the pill for a while before that, but I'm pretty sure I'm overdue by now. Besides the missed period, I don't have any other symptoms that would suggest pregnancy. I'd love to hear from other moms about how they found out they were pregnant. Also, I'm not sure if I can take a test yet? Or is it too early? I don't have any knowledge about this at all, so any advice is welcome!

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Anna,

In principle, any pregnancy test should work right now, assuming you have a regular cycle. At Kruidvat you can buy 2 tests for 5 euros, not too much money and they are very accurate.

I also didn't have any symptoms at the start of my pregnancy; this varies from woman to woman and from pregnancy to pregnancy.
For peace of mind, I'd just take a test.

If it's negative and your period still doesn't come, repeat it after 5 days.

    Good luck!
