Our little friend has been sleeping in the big bed for a month now. We made it ourselves and he sleeps in a tractor bed. Now he comes into our bed every night. Because of this, I lie awake for hours every night. We think he finds his bed scary, because it was going well at first until dad made a joke about driving away his bed (it has wheels).

What do you think? Should we train our friend to stay in his bed or listen to him in case he's scared?

You always hear about his fear, you really don't need to make a big drama out of it but you can try to take it away. Maybe craft a sort of 'wheel clamp' that ensures his bed can't roll away. Cause a 'flat tire', take the wheels off, or just try putting down a different bed and see if it's over. I wouldn't train him when he's scared of something....

What a great idea, Isa! I think that wheel clamp is a good one! Not that he understands it, but I get how I can handle this. We're going to craft today!

Hi Raan 87, it's always so sad when they're this scared.
I'd just let him stay with you if it helps him sleep and reduces his fear.
Training can't hurt, but maybe being with you is even better.
Or maybe just sitting with him for a few times when he's going to sleep might make it less scary for him to have someone nearby.
You can also tell him that nothing bad will happen because mom is there watching over him
    Good luck
