I also had to take Clomid first, get Pregnyl injections on Sunday, October 15th, then have insemination on October 17th, and start Utrogestan on October 17th. I can test on October 31st.

    Good evening ladies
I hope I may ask my question here.
For those who don't know me, I'm Carla and I have a 3-year-old son, born after 10 years of IVF treatments, 21 transfers, and finally getting pregnant with my 9th IVF cycle.
After that, we tried for a sibling. With IVF cycles 10, 11, and 12, but unfortunately, they all failed. We just did IVF number 13 and had the embryo transfer last Saturday, with 2 embryos.
As support, I have to inject Pregnyl 1500 three times. I've gained quite a bit of experience with Pregnyl and tests (early tests) over all these years, and I know that Pregnyl breaks down quickly in my body. 1500 is gone for me after 2.5/3 days.
Now, I usually test after having injected Pregnyl, and you obviously see a line and it's positive. I've never had dark lines with Pregnyl, so after the first injection I didn't either.
I did that one 3 days after the transfer, last Tuesday.
I took the test 2 hours after the injection (drank nothing).
And I got a faint line as expected. Now, I couldn't hold myself back and tested again in the evening (drank a lot), and it was much darker than in the morning.
Now, I know of course that it's not supposed to be like this, but after so many years, you start doing the craziest things!! Lol.
Now I just don't understand why the test was darker in the evening after drinking a lot than in the morning. Could this mean something? Does anyone know exactly how it works?
I do know that Pregnyl is absorbed directly into the body and that it halves every 24 hours, which is even faster for me.
So how can it be that the test gets darker instead of lighter, which in my opinion it should, considering that every hour Pregnyl should decrease.
I hope someone can tell me something about this. I'll add the photo so you also have something to look at and can give your opinion.
    Anyway, thanks in advance.

    Greetings, Carla

I tested today, 5 days after the Pregnyl 1500. For our 2nd baby.. the test is super positive!!
This can't really be from the Pregnyl anymore, can it?
    Love xx

    Ladies, I'm back!
I'm on the waiting list for IVF number 14. I had an Ovitrelle trigger shot on June 4th at 11 PM and had the egg retrieval on June 6th. Last Wednesday, June 9th, I got two beautiful Emmys back; both were 8-cell embryos. Now I'm testing to see if the Ovitrelle is clearing out of my system, and this morning I got a very faint line on the test. Is this still a leftover from the Ovitrelle? I'm not familiar with testing for Ovitrelle clearance, only for Pregnyl. How long can you test positive for Ovitrelle 250, and when can you test positive for your own hCG?
For the ladies who don't know me yet, I'm a "vroetester" (so I'm still waiting for the answer, give me a few days or a week; if I have nothing, then...). Are there any ladies here familiar with this? Did you also test positive on day 8 after the Ovitrelle, and was that due to a pregnancy or leftover Pregnyl?
    Love, Carla
