Davy or Vince

Hi everyone,

We're expecting our second son and are busy brainstorming names. I had opened a thread about this before, but it got a bit messy, so we're hoping for fresh input

Our eldest son is Sam (pronounced Sem). I really like the name Vince, but my husband isn't quite sure yet—"yes, this is the name." Last night he suggested the name Davy.

Which do you think sounds better?

Sam (Sem) and Vince
or
Sam (Sem) and Davy

Of course, we'll have to make the final decision ourselves, but we really appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Love

Definitely Vince! Much cooler than Davey (especially at the age of, say, 35 ).

Without a doubt, I find Vince much nicer and smoother.

    Hey Mandy!

I'm quite fond of Davy. It suits every age and is less common than Vince nowadays! My brother is named that and it sounds really nice hihi

I find Davy a bit childish for when your son is grown up. Call him David and use Davy as a nickname.
