Miscarriage?

Hi everyone,
I did a Clear Blue test on January 10th that showed 2-3 weeks.
I had an ultrasound on January 6th that said I was 7 weeks along, but no heartbeat was visible yet.
The midwife wants to wait a bit more and I have to come back next Wednesday.
Ever since we found out we're pregnant, we haven't been able to feel happy for even a moment. It's all so strange.
My last period was on November 17th.
Could this mean a miscarriage?

    Hi! How are you? I’ve got the same story, and I’ve had light brownish-pink mucus-like bleeding for a few days. I went for an ultrasound, and everything looked good, but no heartbeat yet. I need to come back in two weeks. I’m 6 weeks along, and they said it’s normal not to see a heartbeat yet.

    Laila, it's so sad that you have to go through all that uncertainty. I understand that you're scared. Light bleeding isn't always serious, but feel free to call the on-call service or your midwife to report it. That way, you'll know for sure what to do. Anonymous, I wish you lots of strength. It's normal to feel anxious right now. Hopefully, there will be good news on Wednesday.
