big hernia barely lets me enjoy my pregnancy!

It's really hard to enjoy my pregnancy. I can walk a bit, sit a bit, and have to lie down a lot. I can't do my household chores, which my husband is supposed to do. They don't want to operate on the hernia. Does anyone have experience with this?
