My baby has super curly hair, and I used to go crazy over the tangles the next morning. It was like it was completely gelled at the back of her head, which felt such a shame.
Now I found a fitted sheet with a silk top part, and luckily no more tangles because the smooth fabric doesn't cause friction.
I'm so happy again with her long hair, and she won't get any bald patches from rubbing either.

Happy happy happy

They're from Silkysleepbaby. Not super cheap, but great quality.

My nanny who looks after our kids always complains about the tangles in my girls' hair. Can't she just cut a bit off? Oh, it's so annoying having to deal with those tangles. Then I often burst out laughing. But I don't want to cut any off; I feel it's a waste. I think it's such a shame to cut their long hair. She says that I don't comb it every morning, which is why I don't see the point in cutting it. But anyway, she thinks they'd look better with shorter hair, she thinks. Well, am I exaggerating?
Am I really the only mother who feels it's a shame and likes her daughters' long hair?
    Greetings, Madelene

No, cutting it is indeed a waste. Silk really helps a lot with tangles and is also better for baby's skin. If she's already out of the crib, a silk pillowcase is an ideal solution. Many women sleep on them too to protect their hair (and against wrinkles ;-))
Make sure you get real silk, not satin (this is very sweaty and not natural)
