Hi!
Mamav3
Hi!
I'm almost 35, a (divorced) mom of 3 beautiful kids, and I'd really like to join in writing and reading here.
Last June, I had an abortion, and to this day, I still feel a lot of sadness and regret about it... I was in the middle of a divorce from the father of my 3 kids (a contentious split that had already been going on for 2.5 years at the time), and I was 100% sure my partner wasn't expecting a baby (he was always very clear about not wanting more children because he felt he was too old). I didn't tell him I was pregnant either, and I had it terminated at 7 weeks
, never thought I could do that...
I did tell him later what had happened. I remained incredibly sad, the loss was enormous. He was at least as sad, but blamed me for nothing. He understood that, given his statements, I had taken this step.
Soon after, we decided to try for a baby anyway. So far, without success. Sometimes I wonder if it's my own fault, that I shouldn't have been so foolish.
I understand if there are women here who judge me for that abortion, but I still hope I can write something here from time to time, without constantly being criticized for it. The reason I'm sharing this is because that child is also part of my life, and I'm afraid that I might not get pregnant now because of that procedure.
Greetings!
