When are we going to really protect our children now

I've been hearing reports for years now about child abuse in the church, swimming instructors, daycare centers, and who knows where else...

What really bothers me, aside from what they've done, is that these people hardly get punished. The church is dealt with in some weird way, and the rest are out again after just half a year.

Surely everyone understands that you shouldn't touch children? So why do they get away with it so easily? When are we going to really protect our children from these monsters?

Hi, you're absolutely right. I'll share something with you; I went through it too when I was at boarding school, and my dad did the same to me. My child is struggling, but I'm staying strong for her.

I don't get it either... It's pretty much the worst thing you can do to someone. So small and they're traumatized for their whole lives. I say chemical castration should be introduced for that kind of criminal.

I don't get this either!! This is enough to make you cry!

I myself am very religious, and there have been cases in our circle too (ordinary parents of children and often mothers who seek advice because they suspect incest or something similar), and intervention happens the very same day!! Regret or not, it's reported immediately!

If this happens in churches, I find it extra frustrating: preaching God's word with such hypocrisy..

And caregivers of, say, disabled people?! Where is their heart and conscience??

I was recently at a friend's house, and she let her 3-year-old daughter crawl completely naked on the lap of a stranger. My heart skipped a beat!! I would never do that. You never know what someone might think!!

Don't think too much about it if you're pregnant..
