Ladies, do you think 22 is still a young mom, or is that under 22?

Hi ladies, I'm 22 and pregnant, but I was wondering:
Is 22 still considered a young mom?
Or is that under 22?
Maybe a weird question, but I was curious.
Up to what age are you still a young mom?
Greetings, Emina

    Hi,
Congratulations on your pregnancy! No, I don't think it's young; I was 22 when I got pregnant and 23 when he was born. Sometimes it's also a conscious choice to become a young mother, and that was my case. I'm happy that I became a young mom!

Well, it depends. Some people are already very mature at 22, while others aren't. To me, being an adult isn't about age but more about independence and a sense of responsibility. Emina, sorry, but I don't think your spelling mistakes are very mature... I hope you do have that independence and sense of responsibility.

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!

22 is young, but definitely not too young for a pregnancy. It does fall under the "category" of 'young mother', though.

From a natural perspective, it's actually the best age group to become pregnant. I also agree with Fenna regarding age and responsibility.

Are you unsure about this because you're asking this question?

And you're as young as you feel and act

I was pregnant at 23 and became a mom at 24, and I think you're as old or young as you feel...
You can't judge or condemn what feels right for a woman of 20, 22, 26, 30, etc...
If you and your partner choose to go for it, then go for it and enjoy it...

Lots of love and enjoy your pregnancy!

I was also 23 weeks pregnant (almost 24) and gave birth at 24. My daughter is now 8 and I’m 33 now.
But becoming a mom was something I’d always wanted to do, and I’ve taken full responsibility for it!

I'm 24 now, and if I get pregnant, I'll definitely be 25 by the time the baby is born.

I always wanted to be a young mom, like my mom and sister were at 23.
This didn't happen because we weren't ready for it back then (in terms of living situation), and age wasn't important enough to completely change my whole life.

Now, knowing I'll be at least 25 when I become a mom, I feel "old" in my own timeline. Or at least not "a young mom" anymore, like my sister and mom.

I know it doesn't really matter, and once I'm pregnant, I probably won't stress about it at all... But it does make me wonder what other women consider "young mom" in terms of age.

I totally get that 17 is young and 45 is old. But when does "young" stop and "average" begin, and when does "old" start?

Hey girls, I think it's a great age! I'm 22 myself and already have a little boy who's 2 and a half. I'm super happy and proud of it! It'll be nice for the little one when he's older to have a young mom, I think So enjoy your pregnancy!!
