I'm just popping in to introduce myself :-)
My name is Astrid and I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant with twins.
I already have 2 kids... a girl of 13 and a boy of 12.
I've been with my new partner for 4 years now and he doesn't have kids of his own.
We're both quite "older" (I'm 39, he's 41).
I stopped the pill in December 2012, so we were pleasantly surprised when it worked out.
During the ultrasound on Dec 27 (7.2 weeks), it turned out we had double luck :-)
I'm quite nauseous and exhausted, but well... that's just part of it now.
On Jan 15, I have another ultrasound to check if the growth is going well, and they want to do a nuchal translucency scan right away.
I'm going to do some reading up... but if you have any questions, I'd be happy to hear them of course :-)
