When is the Pill effective when fertile?

Hi!

I got my last contraceptive pill in June. Since then, I still haven't had a period.
Online it says it can take 5 to 12 months for your period to return. I'd like to know when I'll be fertile again? Does anyone have any idea???

Greetings

There's nothing much to say about that. Yeah, the pill needs to wear off first, but one got pregnant right away and the other didn't. If you're not pregnant after about a year, you can visit your GP.

A bit of a late response, maybe, but I also used the contraceptive implant for a year and only got pregnant two years later. Not that I want to discourage you, but if it takes too long, get referred to a gynecologist.

I also took the birth control pill and only got pregnant again after 8 years. But I have to mention that my husband had to take heavy medication for about 5 years.

    Best regards

Hi! I stopped taking the pill a while back—it was in August 2014. Last night (03-02-15) I got brown mucus in my underwear, and last night and today I’ve had bleeding. So I can say I’ve gotten my period again.

Have you gotten your period yet? I'm in a similar situation and was wondering when your period actually started?
