    Hi Rosali,

Congratulations on your fifth one who's already quite a few months old, I guess. My youngest, a girl, is now nine months old and the youngest of our five kids. We have a 17-year-old daughter, a 15-year-old, a 13-year-old son, a 5-year-old daughter, and thus a 9-month-old girl. After having four kids, you think you know the ropes, but this girl is a totally different character. We all have our work cut out for us. She's not a baby born to be a baby. She wants to move forward, preferably with big leaps. In the meantime, she's been able to sit, crawl, and stand for two weeks now. She's becoming more confident every day. Her world has become so much bigger that she's also a bit more content. She's a very alert child, which means she also wakes up very quickly. She prefers to fall asleep in mom's arms. If I try to do it differently, she gets extremely angry and really won't sleep. That's still a bit of a thing...

All in all, this little beauty is a wonderful addition to our family. We all enjoy her. She coos a lot and explores everything and everyone.

    Best, Dieske

Congratulations! Here, mother of 5 boys and running my own business. No babysitter or au pair. We do it all together, cozy style. Never even considered it.

I don't know if anyone still replies here, but I'm really curious how your surroundings reacted when it turned out there was another little one on the way.
We already have 5 kids here, but with the 3rd, we (or rather I) already got comments about it in the village.
The wish for a 6th is there...but I'd rather move just to avoid hearing others' comments.
I know I shouldn't let it bother me...but it hurt every time back then too.

Hi Rosalie, I'm a mom of 4 beautiful kids and if everything keeps going well, I'll be the mom of a 5th baby soon. It's wonderful to have a big family. They are everything to me, always, even if you sometimes lose yourself as a mom, I wouldn't want anything else.
    They are my greatest wealth.
    Love

    Hi, congratulations!
I'm also pregnant with my 6th.
My other kids are 13, 12, 6, 5, and almost 4. I've always wanted a big family and I'm so happy with my kids. It's definitely a blessing, just like my mom used to say.

Wishing you all lots of luck!

Hi everyone! I have 5 kids and I'm hoping this time it sticks. My period is due on the 13th, so maybe I'll be pregnant with number 6. I just had a miscarriage, which I'd never experienced before. But it's nice to see more moms here with lots of kids. Mine are 16, 15, two 12s, and 7.

Ah, that hurts. Good luck, not nice. I was quite sick from it for a bit. And you never forget it, it was 6 weeks and 3 days.

    That's lovely!
    I'm pregnant too, 5th baby. My others are still young: a 6-year-old boy, a 4-year-old girl, a 3-year-old boy, and a 6-month-old baby boy.
It's busy, but I love spending time with the kids like this.

Hi, can I join in the chat? I'm Bella, mom of 3 girls (18, 9, and 3), and I'm now trying for a 4th. Oh, and I'm 39 years old.

Hi hi, so nice to hear that there are so many people with big families. I’m also expecting my sixth and last child, but it’s always just as exciting!!!

I read here and there that people around you don’t always react well or tactfully. Well, I think this has a bit to do with today’s society; people don’t really know how to deal with families who genuinely enjoy that bustle and coziness (and sometimes being extremely hectic and chaotic). But if you, as parents, decide to have lots of kids, that’s your own business. What others think is their problem. Most people used to look at me with a pitying expression (which basically means: "Oops, did you have an accident?", and then I’d proudly say that we chose this ourselves. We love our kids and are super proud of them, and we raise them as best we can, through good times and bad. We’re not afraid to show that we’re proud of our little ones, and that’s that! Good luck with your families (big or small, it’s always just so lovely...)

    Hi there,

I'm also newly pregnant with baby number 6!
    It wasn't planned, but it's very welcome. Our other kids are 9, 7, 4, 2, and 1.
I still need to adjust a bit, but everything will surely work out fine?
