Short period

Dame
I have a question and I hope it can be answered for me.

When I'm on my period, it's only for a short time. Normally I always had my period for at least 4 or 5 days, but for the last 3 months it's only been 1.5 to 2 or 3 days each month. After that, I don't have any spotting at all. And I'm not pregnant.

So my question is whether this is normal? And does it have anything to do with reduced fertility?

No one who has the same or an answer?

    Hey there!

I also only have a period of 2 to 3 days. Usually, it starts with brown discharge 2 days beforehand, but only when wiping (I don't count that as day 1 of a new cycle; I only count the day it really starts flowing and I need a tampon as day 1). Then I have one day of moderate to good flow, day 2 is lighter but still enough for a tampon, and by day 3 it's just brown discharge when wiping again, so I can get through the day with a panty liner. So, I don't think it's strange at all...

Linda33, thanks for your reply. Do you think it's okay to have such a short MS, or did you ever go to the GP to ask about that?

I don't think it's a big deal... I've always only had my period for 3 days... even when I was still on the pill... As long as there's a good bleed in between, I think that's fine...
