What pregnancy course are you guys taking? For the first one, I did prenatal yoga, which I found really nice.

Had my first prenatal yoga class yesterday. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's really fun and relaxing! Now just hoping it'll help with the birth later on

I did both yoga (the class series is now finished, with 5 more lessons after the birth) and I still do pregnancy swimming weekly.
I found yoga very educational, very practical, and I really got exercises for during and after the birth, which was great!
Swimming is super nice and very relaxing, I can definitely recommend it, especially if you have a lot of back and/or pelvic pain.

On Wednesday there's pregnancy yoga, and on Thursday pregnancy swimming.
The second one is free drop-in; it's not a 'real' course.

I found swimming more relaxing during pregnancy.

I haven't done anything, and luckily my delivery went well too!

    nothing of that
I really wanted to be alone during my pregnancy
for some reason I enjoyed the peace and quiet so much in my pregnancy and didn't have much need for crowds or being around people
just me, my girl in my belly and my boy
    I found that peace lovely
maybe it was because of the hormones
but because of that I also didn't feel like doing pregnancy yoga or any of those sorts of things
    greetings Anita

I started pregnancy pilates last Thursday! I really enjoyed the class, especially because you get to connect with other pregnant women in the area and have lots of chats about your pregnancy in between.

The class itself felt quite light, but now I’ve got quite a bit of muscle soreness in my lower back and hips.. Do you think this is harmful or is it normal?

I actually had absolutely no desire for much company during my pregnancies. I really wanted to be alone during that time, so I definitely didn't want any pregnancy gymnastics or yoga. No, I walked a lot in nature, which was lovely—just me and the little one in my belly.

But apparently, yoga is very relaxing during pregnancy.

I also got so irritated when people wanted to feel my belly; I don't know why, I just really liked to withdraw. So I went walking a lot in nature, which I really enjoyed during my pregnancies, and it was very relaxing.

But I can imagine that it might be very pleasant for other women; it's different for every woman. Every pregnancy is unique.

    Greetings, Madelene
