Hi everyone!
I'm new here and I'm really curious if there are more people on this forum who aren't pregnant? And also don't have kids. So that's me! No kids & not pregnant but with a strong desire for children!

    Hi

    Welcome here..!

I'm not pregnant yet either, but I really, really want to be!
We've been trying for a year now, and for the last 5 months I've been at the hospital.
Next week I'm starting hormone injections. I'm 21 years old.

How long have you been trying? And how old are you?

    Thank you so much

Wow, you're already dealing with quite a lot at that age! Do you have PCOS? I hope your wish comes true soon for you both! I'm 23 years old. Not trying for kids yet, but we'll see where we stand in about a year!

    Yup, I have PCO..
Oh my, you still have a long way to go before you can start! May I ask why that is, since your desire is already so big? Are you still on the pill/IUD?

    Hi ladies,

I'm 24 years old and have been trying for over 3 years. Tomorrow I have an appointment at the hospital about the treatments starting in January.

Just stopped the pill a few weeks ago, no kids yet, but relieved and relaxed that we’ve decided to stop taking the pill. I’m not in “counting days” mode (yet), but I’m keeping track a bit.

Can I ask what PCO exactly means? I know PCOS, but I haven't heard of PCO before! It probably has something to do with each other, but I don't know the difference. We're waiting to have a baby since I'm in the middle of my studies. Probably next year too... But we'll just see how things go between us and what we can arrange regarding studies! I'm on the pill now X

Exciting tomorrow!! Do you also have PCOS/PCO?

Well, maybe you'll have good news soon!! How old are you now? It's so nice of you not to dwell on it too much! The less you focus on it, the faster it happens That's been my experience with other people, at least..
    Love,

    @ lady

    no I don't

indeed, it's really exciting!! the more I look forward to tomorrow, the more nervous I get!
luckily we have the talk at 11:30.. and not in the afternoon
  12. ladymillion started this #13

May I ask why it’s not working out for you in a natural way? Glad you had the talk early on! Much better than waiting until the afternoon! Hopefully everything goes as you hope
  13. Marianne #14

Who knows! I'm 29 now, how about you?
  14. kruimel #15

It's all the same haha, the 'PCOS'.
In my hospital they never say 'PCOs' but just PCOS.. don't ask me why hihi!
But PCOS only manifests itself in enlarged ovaries. I don't have cysts, overweight, acne..

Hopefully you can start enjoying your big wish next year! It'll be tough with a study but anything is possible!

    Good luck!

    xxKruimel

    @ lady,

we've been at it for an average of 3 years.

we've also tried the natural way all that time, but for some reason it just won't work.
i've also had quite a few tests done, both my boyfriend and myself, and everything looked good!
well, why it won't work for us then.. i wonder that too... that's one of the questions i'm going to ask tomorrow!

    Hi ladies,

we had the conversation this morning!

We're starting IUI with hormones from January!
We have a follow-up appointment on December 3rd, where she'll explain everything about the treatment!

We're much clearer about everything now! And I'm glad we had this talk.
And indeed, we'll also get all our IUI treatments covered
  17. ladymillion started this #18

Oh haha, I didn't know that!

Yes, I'm indeed curious how it will go next year Hope you get pregnant soon too!!

Oh how strange! Too bad you can't stamp a reason why it's not working out!

Glad the conversation went well! Hopefully 2014 will be your year and the treatments will go well!

    Love

    @ lady

yes indeed, we're now looking at something positive
in the meantime, I'm still waiting for my egg to show up tomorrow, day 22.
and then we'll have December, so we can still try for one more month, and then start in January, assuming I'm not already pregnant by then!
