What do you think of the girl's name Amy? I'm due in 2 months and I was wondering if it's pretty enough to give my girl.

Choose the name you both stand by. !!
Would you really want to switch now?

Yeah, Anomiem, because my husband didn't like this name from the start, and I think it's the end, so it's very nice to give it to my girl when she looks at whether the others agree with me, whether they also don't find it a beautiful name, and the agreement was that if the others also don't find this name as beautiful as him, then I would let him choose another one.

Oh okay, that's indeed a different situation.
Eh, it won't be my choice, but I like unique names and I find Amy too ordinary.
    No good comparison then.

Good luck, hope you figure it out quickly together.

Hmm, Amy, yeah, you hear that a lot.

What does your husband like? What kind of name?

Hi sweetheart, my husband loves the name Loetsia. He wants to give that name to our girl. Greetings, Lirike

He thinks that name is much prettier than Amy. He says if it doesn't become Amy, we'll do our thing, so it'll become Lucia.

Hmm, Loetsia isn't quite what I'm looking for either. I know a cute name that looks similar

    Luwa = Loewa

And if you really want the 'ia' in there, you could also go with Luwia

You can make something nice out of a less-than-perfect name

    Greetings and good luck!!

hi honey, thanks for your message and for your honest opinion. i don’t think loetsia is ugly or anything, it’s just a bit too long. i think amy is a thousand times nicer than loetsia. he thinks ijgenliik or loetsia is beautiful, he says it’s such a nice name, or kristie, he says. i still think amy is the nicest. i don’t get a wow feeling from kristie, but i do from amy. what do you think of kristie?
  9. hartje #10

    Kristie
  10. hartje #11

Kristie is also a nice name, Kirsten works too. What did you think of Luwa actually?

It's short like you want, and your husband likes the name that resembles it.
Are you naming the little one after someone else or just using a nickname?

    See you later...

I like Amy.. I also think Aimee is really beautiful! Good luck with it. Greetings
  12. hartje #13

Yes, Anonymous, Aimee is such a beautiful name!

Hi sweetheart, thanks for your opinion on the name Kristie. I think Luwa sounds nice and cheerful, but my husband doesn't like it unfortunately. He says he'd rather shorten it to Loetsa, so changing Loetsia to Loetsa. I think it sounds better already because it's shorter than Loetsia, but I still think Amy is more beautiful than Loetsa. I don't like Kirsten that much because it appears twice in my family, and we want to give her three names. The second name will be my own name but spelled differently: Lirieke, and the third name after my mother, Angeliqe. My mother is called Angeliqe, and that will be her third name. We're happy about that. So now I have to choose between Amy, which really lies in my heart, or Kristie or Loetsa, but I don't think I'll go with Loetsa. So between Kristie and Amy. Greetings, Lirieke.

which sounds more beautiful to you, loetsa kristie or amy
  15. lirike started this #16

and anyway, Aimee is indeed also beautiful. I'll ask my husband if he likes it instead of Amy.
  16. hartje #17

Yes, Aimee is the most beautiful, then Amy, Kristie, and then Loetsa or Loetsia.

Thank you so much! My husband is happy with Aimee for now, we're just taking a moment to decide.

Hi ladies, I just wanted to let you know that we've got our name sorted. She'll have my name as the second name and my mother's name as the third, so she'll be called Kristie Lirieke Angeliqe Feenstra. We've agreed that if we ever have a second child and it's a girl again, we'll...

We'll name her Aimee. Greetings, Lirike, and thanks for helping decide on the right name.
