Well... after not being active on this forum for a while, I've decided to come back.

In the meantime, a lot has happened, and I have a hospital visit scheduled.
However, it's now the case that I was supposed to get my period on October 8th. Two days ago and yesterday, I lost two small brown clumps of blood, and nothing else (yes, white discharge).
Even inserting a tampon suddenly hurts me.

Normally, I have three days of bleeding, and not a little (to put it mildly)...

I find it all quite frustrating; has anyone here experienced this before?

    Hi!

    Inserting a tampon when there's no blood always hurts me. The instructions (in the tampon leaflet) also recommend not using tampons if you're not losing any blood.

    Have you tried it yet?

    No, not tested yet. But I've lost a little brown blood twice.

    Spot, brown blood can mean anything. This can also happen during pregnancy..
    Maybe do a test anyway?

    Since I still haven’t gotten my period, we’ve decided to test on Wednesday. This is also because we have an appointment at the hospital on Friday.

    Ster85. I didn’t know I was pregnant either... I lost a little bit of blood for 2 days. Whereas I usually lose quite a bit for 4 days.. And now I’m 20 weeks pregnant hihi.. So yeah, do a test.. It could well be positive.

    Unfortunately, my period started again last night (1 week overdue).
    Another disappointment, and why is it so %$£¥! to have an irregular cycle.

    Now we'll wait until Friday. Has anyone here had experience with fertility tests?

    So sad!!

    I see you've been at it exactly a month longer than I was.
    I've been going to the fertility clinic at my hospital for 5 months now. The first tests will be an internal ultrasound and blood tests for you, and a sperm analysis for your man/partner... that's how it was for us at least.....
    If nothing comes of that, they'll send you home to keep trying on your own - as rotten as that sounds - but since you say you're so irregular, it might also be that you get Clomid or something, which makes things a bit more 'regular'

    Did you happen to track your temperature in the last month(s)? Bring that with you, then you'll be one step ahead.

    It’s really disappointing, indeed.

    I tried the temperature method for 3 months, but it drove me completely crazy and frustrated!!
    I’ll definitely bring those charts with me, as my GP also recommended.

    Oh good that you kept track of that. Otherwise they might have sent you home with the message to go cool down and then come back.
    Hope something works out for you, nothing bad of course, but that you get help!
