I'm Gina and I'm 33. I've had a desire for kids for a few years now, but since my partner and I studied for a long time and are only just starting our real "working lives," this is finally the right time for the next step.
We've only just started trying since late July. Because my partner has a rotating schedule (5 weeks on, 5 weeks off), we try to plan as much as possible during the weeks he's home. We're taking it easy! Also, since last May, 3 hemangiomas (blood vessel tumors) have been found in my liver. That makes it quite nerve-wracking how my future pregnancy will go. Really exciting, all of it!! But I'm absolutely thrilled about it!

I signed up during my pregnancy, and my son is 9 months old now. I really find this a lovely forum where you can meet sweet women and where everyone seems to have an answer if you have questions.
Good luck with trying to conceive! My advice is: have intercourse every other day—that's the best! When you stop the pill, your cycle can be all over the place, and you might not really know your cycle. It's usually irregular, which is why I recommend doing it every two days; it's also better for sperm quality. Every day isn't ideal.

I stopped using contraception in April. My cycle was indeed irregular then. Now we just have to wait and see if it settles back into a regular rhythm. We'll see! All we can do is live as healthily as possible and be patient for the miracle that hopefully will come!
