Hi everyone!

I'm 29, been married for almost a year, and we're trying for our first little miracle. After stopping the pill, it took over half a year for my period to return to normal (like before I started the pill), but now I've got a 'normal' cycle again. And for the past two months, I've been feeling my ovulation again, just like before I started the pill. Now we just have to wait and see... Exciting!

Thanks for the warm welcome! My cycle isn't totally regular, but it's more normal now in the sense that I remember why I started the pill in the first place.. Two days of cramping belly pain and that kind of fun stuff. But this round I thought I felt my ovulation and did an ovulation test in the evening, and it was clearly positive. So exciting!

Yeah, I totally get that—aches and pains you haven’t had in years... On the flip side, I’m free from my daily headaches. So there’s some crap in the pill, obviously.

    But it’s definitely exciting!

@Esther, you can definitely get headaches from the pill. I've had pills from different manufacturers (due to insurance, etc.), and with one of those types, I had a headache every day. It's caused by something in the coating, I also get it with Ibuprofen.

It was clear to me right after stopping the pill that my daily headaches were caused by it. Too bad the GP didn’t figure that out sooner!
