Hi everyone,
My name is Esmee and I'm 22 years old. I've been with my boyfriend for 5 years and we're trying for our first baby.
This is our 5th round. We're really excited about everything that's coming and can't wait!

I was pregnant once before, but unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage. That was also an unexpected pregnancy; I was just 18.

This round didn't work out, but I'm still worried. I was supposed to get my period on Monday, June 17th. I felt nothing—normally, I have severe cramps 2 days before. On Tuesday, June 18th, I suddenly had a little bit of brown/red discharge, so I thought, "Oh, period!" On Wednesday, I put in a tampon (normally I need to change it 3 or 4 times a day). It was in all day and wasn't even half full. Thursday was the same story, and now I wake up feeling nauseous but with absolutely nothing happening! (Normally, it starts flowing in the morning, so I usually have a heavy flow!)

I called the doctor, and he said I should wait until next month and make an appointment if I get a light period again. He didn't mention anything about pregnancy.

I hoped this round would be the one because I've been having all sorts of symptoms. But unfortunately, not this time.

So, I've introduced myself and shared how things are going for me right now

Best,
Esmee

I'll wait a few more days, but a test won't hurt

I got a test done, okay! Thought, ahg, why not, if you really want to know, there's only one thing to do, hihi!

A light period can happen once in a while..

And regarding being worried that it doesn't happen quickly:
On average, women get pregnant between the 6th and 12th month
And I don't know if you were on the pill, but that can also take a bit to leave your body.
