Hi everyone,

How old are your little ones and what does their feeding schedule look like?
Our son is 5 months old and he gets the following around these times:

8:00 bottle 180-6 scoops
10:00/10:30 fruit puree (small jar)
13:00 bottle 180-6 scoops
17:00 porridge/bottle half and half
20:30/21:00 bottle 180-6 scoops

I'm curious what others eat during the day.
Love, Isse

    hey...

my little girl is now about 6.5 months old... her schedule has always been:

    8.00 am bottle 180 + 6 scoops and 3 scoops of Nutriton
10.30 am small jar of fruit puree
    12.00 pm bottle 180 + 6 scoops and 3 scoops of Nutriton
    16.00 pm bottle 180 + 6 scoops and 3 scoops of Nutriton
17.30 pm small jar of vegetable puree
    20.00 pm bottle 180 + 6 scoops and 3 scoops of Nutriton

she is now clearly changing her schedule... she doesn't finish many of her bottles... so we're kind of messing around with it and sometimes you don't really know anymore yourself.. she also sleeps quite a lot, because she plays and moves a lot.. this makes it harder for me to figure out when to give what.. from today I've taken away one bottle:

    8.00 am bottle 180 + 6 scoops and 3 scoops of Nutriton
10.30 am large jar of fruit puree
    13.00 pm bottle 180 + 6 scoops and 3 scoops of Nutriton
16.00 pm full yogurt flavored with some thick apple juice
17.30 pm large jar of vegetable puree
20.00 pm bottle 180 + 6 scoops + 1 scoop of rice flour and 3 scoops of Nutriton

let's see how she sleeps at night, otherwise I'll make the last bottle 210 with 7 scoops tomorrow..

I find it all quite difficult, it's also my first baby, so I'm curious how other mamas do it.. I'll definitely keep reading..

Lucas is just 6 months old:

    8:30 180ml + 6 scoops
10:30 fruit, small bowl of fresh or small jar
    12:30 bottle 180ml + 6 scoops
    16:30 bottle 180ml + 6 scoops
    18:00 veggie puree
    21:30 bottle 180ml + 6 scoops

I don't give him cereal, he has nice little ham hocks so there's no need for more.

He's doing well with this, we obviously have to wake him for the last bottle but he falls back asleep so easily after that.
Chats in the morning around half past 6 and 7, then falls back into a lovely sleep until about 8:15.
    Ideal baby so far

Oh yes, and with this weather, he drinks about 2x 30cc of water between the 2nd and 3rd bottle.

Do they get thicker faster with pap?
Our daughter also gets pap made from rice flour. She has eczema, so I haven't really dared to start with fruit yet, but with just bottle food she really doesn't have enough anymore. I think she's ready for it; she wants to grab everything and put it in her mouth, watches us eat, and then starts squeaking.
    Any tips?
This question might not quite belong here, but I'm just reading along for now.

I don't know if they get thicker faster on baby food.

Baby food has more nutrients than just milk anyway, and I think Lucas gets enough without it, so I don't give it to him.
And he's fine with what he's getting now, so we'll keep it like that for now.
I started with veggie puree at 5 months and fruit two weeks ago. We're doing everything slowly with Lucas and he's doing great this way.

We'll start with potatoes soon and give him a bit of bread crust in between, but first we'll wait for the visit to the speech therapist. Maybe she has some handy tips to encourage him to use his mouth even more.

Our son is almost 6 months old and this is his schedule.. sometimes it saves half an hour or so.

    8:30 bottle 180
    10:30/11:00 fruit snack
    13:00 bottle 180
    17:00 bottle 180
    18:30 vegetable snack
    21:30 bottle 180

    Hi ladies..
Our Nyana's schedule has completely changed...
She's 5 and a half months old now..
    8-8.30 bottle of 270
    12-12.30 fruit puree
16.30-17.00 veggies with potatoes or macaroni or rice (she's already eating lumpy food and likes it much more than purees...)
Around 19.00 she eats some more from our plates after work...
    And at 20.30-21.00 a bottle of 270
And then she sleeps until morning...

    Love, Daphne

Help, we've lost track of the schedule and rhythm a bit, he's a bit messy when he's tired or hungry, just figuring it out!! Jim is now 5 1/2 months old and a breastfeeding baby. This week he had his first bottle to see if that works better, and I'm now tapering back to breastfeeding in the morning and evening. His schedule is roughly as follows:
    7:00 Breast
    10:30 Breast
    14:00 Breast
16:00 1st bite of carrots and then breast
20:00 Bottle with 3 spoons of rice cereal
In the evenings or at night, sometimes breast

Is this too frequent/too much feeding? Tips from other breastfeeding moms are very welcome

    @patricia,

Don't offer the breast at night anymore due to blood sugar levels.
Your baby can simply sleep through the night, gets enough during the day, and the last bottle is really sufficient.
I also gave, for example, until 6 months and also bottles in between; your schedule looks a bit like mine at 5 months..
I discussed this with a lactation consultant, and she said this. That it really has to do with keeping it going, the blood sugar level.

I hope you find this helpful.
I didn't offer my son the breast at night either, but I would just give him a little stroke on his head and say "go to sleep nicely.." I really had to bite the sour apple, because I also found it really cozy when he came at night..

    Love Ju or well mavanmi

And our Nyana's rhythm has been completely adjusted again now that she's 6 months old (actually it started when she was 5 months and a week though)
    It looks like this now...

    7am-7:30am: Bottle 240ml and 8 scoops
    7:30am-8am: playing
    8am to 9:30am: sleeping
10am: a piece of cheese (kids yogurt)
    10:15am-1pm: playing
1pm: potatoes, veggies and meat, about 200g together and 100ml-125ml water with fennel
    1:30pm-2pm: playing
    2pm-4pm: sleeping
    4pm: a cookie
    4pm-6pm: playing
6pm: fruit porridge, about 300g-350g, 100ml-125ml water with fennel
    6:30pm-7:30pm: a little nap
    7:30pm-9pm: playing
9pm: last bottle 240ml water and 8 scoops
    9:30pm-7am 7:30am: sleeping

(in between she also gets some water, especially in this heat she gets extra fluids)

    Love, Daphne
